Dois loucos tomavam sol a beira da piscina do manicomio até que um deles se
jogou na água e afundou.
Mais do que depressa o seu amigo, num ato heróico, pulou para salvá-lo.
No dia seguinte, o diretor do manicomio foi falar com o "louco salva-vidas":
- Meu rapaz, tenho duas notícias para lhe dar! Uma boa e outra ruim:
A boa é que você finalmente vai ter alta! Você salvou uma vida e então nós
concluímos que você está curado!
O louco deu um sorriso de agradecimento. Dai o diretor continuou:
A notícia ruim é que o rapaz que você salvou ontem se enforcou!
E o louco:
- Nao, Doutor, ele nao se enforcou...
- Como nao?
- Fui eu que o pendurei para ele secar...
